I asked for a very difficult 3D design and was very pleased with the results. I never felt like the nail technician was rushing, she always looked like she was enjoying what she was doing.
Terrible experience, nails were broken by a week. Called them and explained that this wasn’t normal, they argued on the phone and hung up in my face. I’m Vietnamese and they had no idea, I heard them talking crap about customers. Overall, 1/10
Exceptional service! Professional and nails of quality! Thank you!
I don’t ever leave reviews but this time I will because I was not satisfied at all. 1. They charged $5 extra to repair a broken nail ($5 per broken nail). When I called to book my appointment, I advised it was for a refill and wanted to know how much. She gave me the price for a refill but no mention of extra charges for broken nails. I didn’t mention that I had a broken nail but that’s because in the many nail salons that I have been too I’ve never over the years, not once did I ever have to pay for a broken nail. In my opinion, she should have mentioned that to me knowing that I had never been to her nail salon. 2. When the nail tech started buffing my nails with the drill, she hurt me a few times and still kept going. Her nail drill must have been on high speed which she should have lowered it. 3. The nail tech started on my nails and then half way through stopped to go start with another client and left me there waiting. I’m sorry, but that’s not ok. You start with one client and finish with that same client especially if that client came in after you. 4. After all the nail buffing and drilling was done, it was time to start applying the gel colour to the nails. Usually, I am asked to go wash my hands to remove any dust that was on my hands and nails but the nail tech did not advise me to do that and started to apply gel colour straight on top of my nails without wiping, washing or cleaning my nails. She basically started the gel colour with dust on my nails. 5. I don’t know where they got their LED nail dryer machine from but it literally burnt my nails and the tip of my fingers. Overall, the total costed me $55 for something that I usually pay $40-$45 for. The only reason I went to Ongles Fashion is because I really needed my nails done and my usual nail salon closed early today. At many nail salons that I’ve been to, they offer hand lotion once the nails are done or even apply cuticle oil to the cuticles. Well here they did none of that. If i have to pay a certain price for a service, I at least expect good service in return. Never again will I return and I do not recommend this place to anyone I know after my experience. I leave this review because I’ve done my nails many times before and I know when it comes to paying a certain amount of money for something, the job should be done right.
